In an effort to diversify its existing and already stable trading and services business, Fiamma ventured into property development and its involvement in property development began when it acquired two parcels of commercial land in Kuala Lumpur in 2007 and two development companies with on-going residential developments in Taman Kota Jaya and Taman Kota Jaya 2 in Kota Tinggi, Johor, in 2008.

The first project namely Menara Centara in Kuala Lumpur, which comprised the development of office suites in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur, commenced its construction in 2013 and was successfully completed in March 2015.

The residential developments in Kota Tinggi are still on-going after a few phases have been completed.

In 2013, Fiamma entered into a Joint-development project with a third party for the development of Vida Heights, comprising 250 units of serviced apartment in Johor Bahru. The project was completed in August 2017.

In 2018, Fiamma commenced the development of 2 storey semi-detached villas in Taman Suria Permai, Batu Pahat, Johor. Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the project have been completed and Phase 3 is still on going with expected completion date in 2020.

In 2016, Fiamma commenced the development of East Parc which comprises 432 units of serviced apartments in Bandar Menjalara, Kuala Lumpur and it is expected to be completed in May 2020.

The Group had also acquired land in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng and Jalan Sungai Besi, both in Kuala Lumpur, in 2007 and 2015 respectively and the Group intends to develop these parcels of land into residential properties in the future.
